My father was a tradesman and my being around him taught me how to make things with my hands. I observed and was able to duplicate his actions from an early age.
In order to follow my passion for working wood, I have had several shops through the years – cramped garage, basement shop, drafty (but large) barn and a single stall garage that shares some space with bicycles (another passion) and Christmas boxes. Now I have a nice workshop in Portland, Oregon and it allows me to make wood shavings in style!
Due to a recent grand-baby arriving, I have found a few ‘small-child’ items to make. The baby gym is the first item I’m offering and takes much of my time to keep up with demand.
